Michael grew up in a small town in Ohio for most of his life though was originally born at Fort Knox Army Base in Kentucky while his father was serving in the military. Throughout his young life he was shown three main principal’s through his family that have steered the rest of his journey thus far; Integrity, Honesty and Fidelity. All have proven to be invaluable in both his personal and business career.
With 23 years of experience as a broker for top firms in Chicago, Michael brings a wealth of expertise to the vibrant real estate market of Costa Rica. Two years ago, he made the exciting move to Costa Rica as a full time resident and joined Coldwell Banker, where he focuses on luxury and investment homes, land and fincas.

Prior to Real Estate, Michael has worked for non-profits of all sectors, and still sits on the board for many of them. In the local community, Michael has volunteered to be on the Board of La Asociacion Vecinos De Escaleras and serves as the Treasurer. This organization is responsible for the upkeep of much of the roads inside the Escaleras community. He also volunteers for a community outreach for locals providing education, job training and youth sports and ex-pat integration programs, as well a regional security working with the US Embassy and local law enforcement.
Michael has been visiting Costa Rica for over two decades and designed and built his home. When he first came to Costa Rica, the infrastructure was not yet as far south as he had decided to build his home. It was only recently, as of about ten years ago, that the roads, bridges, airports, utilities, fiber, and water has been secured and built for the region. Michael is familiar with all aspects of construction, interior design and land ownership in Costa Rica and will become an invaluable resource for anyone looking to invest in the region. He is a full time Real Estate International Broker and is committed to working with you to procure the right property for you.
