Five minutes from Marino Ballena National Park, in a small gated community on Calle Las Brisas above Uvita. Finished in 2025, and positioned so that the Whale’s Tail sits in the view.

Solid concrete block construction. That is a deliberate choice here, and the right one — it holds up to heat, humidity and green season in a way lighter construction doesn’t, and it keeps maintenance down over the years you actually own the place. The architecture is minimalist enough that there isn’t much to fail: raw concrete against warm tropical finishes, with expansive glass doing the work of bringing the jungle in.
The Rooms
Three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite. The primary is the one people remember — a freestanding soaking tub set to face the Pacific and the Whale’s Tail, and a large glass-enclosed rain shower alongside it.
There is also a dedicated home theater. Purpose-built, not a spare bedroom with a screen in it, and genuinely useful on this coast: green season afternoons are long, and a house with somewhere to go when it rains is a different house from one without.
Outside
The infinity pool reads as though it runs straight into the Pacific. Terraces on the ocean side, tropical planting around them, and the breeze that gives the road its name.

A 4,000-liter water storage tank, which matters more than most buyers realize until the first time supply is interrupted. A biogestor for wastewater rather than a conventional septic system. The Land
